Samm McCurdy is a
painting/sculpture major on partial scholarship at Maryland Institute
College of Art in Baltimore, MD.
As a high school
senior, Samm won numerous awards in local art shows. She was awarded
a full scholarship to attend the Governor’s School of Excellence in the
Arts sponsored by the PA Department of Education for visual
and performing arts and was one of 20
students selected statewide in the drawing and painting category. One of
her pastel drawings was selected for the 2005 PSEA regional exhibit.
